John Butler, Managing Partner

John first entered the medical world as a sales representative for Zimmer OrthOpedics, where he garnered $15 million in annual sales by his second year. He then went on to partner with Biomet Orthopedics as a distributor with over $23 million in annual sales. From there, John entered the software development industry with the creation of Atlas Apps, which specializes in both web and mobile applications. Based on their proprietary library of code, which allows for rapid integration, Atlas Apps has developed applications from mobile point-of-sale to inventory management and analytical reporting for a variety of industries, including medicine and sports.  And with the publication of almost 500 apps, Atlas Apps is currently one of the most prolific companies in the application market.

In the non-profit arena, John spearheaded Rocky Mountain Relief, which helped over 180 evacuees of hurricane Katrina, and has served on the board of Concerts for Kids and Operation Walk. He is also the founder of StrengthinIT, a non-profit that teaches the fundamentals of coding.
